Peptide testing questions
Testing should make the evidence clearer, not overstate what one sample can prove.
Where can I get peptides tested in Canada?
Canada Peptide Testing accepts approved samples by tracked mail from every Canadian province and territory. Start with an online request so a chemist can confirm the compound, matrix, method, sample amount, and mailing instructions before you ship.
How much does peptide testing cost in Canada?
Standard testing starts at $249 CAD for HPLC purity, $179 CAD for LC-MS identity, and $379 CAD for a combined identity-and-content package. Tax, shipping, method development, unusual matrices, and reference materials may be additional.
What is the difference between HPLC and LC-MS peptide testing?
HPLC separates detected components and can estimate chromatographic area purity. LC-MS evaluates mass-to-charge data to support identity. The methods answer different questions and are often ordered together.
Can I mail a peptide sample to the laboratory?
Yes, after the request is reviewed and accepted. You receive a sample ID, packing slip, approved intake address, and method-specific packing instructions. Unapproved, leaking, hazardous, biological, or controlled materials must not be sent.
How long does peptide testing take?
The laboratory confirms an estimated turnaround with the accepted scope. Timing starts after the sample is received, accepted, and any required payment is complete; method development or repeat work can change the estimate.
