Testing service agreement

This agreement is between Canada Peptide Testing (“the laboratory”) and the person or business submitting material for analysis (“you”). It governs every testing request. Your accepted scope and confirmed quote specify the work for your samples; this agreement sets the conditions that work is done under.
1. How you agree
You accept this agreement for a request when you do any of the following: submit the request through the order form or the site assistant, confirm a quote through the approval link or by email, tick the agreement box on the payment page, pay for testing, or mail material to the intake address. Each request is a separate agreement on the scope and price confirmed for it. The version in force when you agreed is recorded against the request.
Clients who submit samples regularly, or who need confidentiality terms, method validation or committed turnaround times, can ask for a written master services agreement instead. Until one is signed, this agreement applies.
2. Requests and acceptance
An online submission is a request for review. Testing begins only after the scope, sample suitability, required quantity, and price are confirmed. Do not mail material until you receive acceptance and packing instructions. Samples received without an accepted request are not processed.
3. Scope of testing and as-is reporting
The laboratory undertakes to perform the tests named in the accepted scope, using the stated methods and its standard procedures, on the portion of the sample it prepares for analysis. Results describe that portion, on the date stated, and nothing else. They are not a statement about other vials, the wider lot or batch, or the product as sold, and the laboratory has no means of confirming that a submitted sample represents any of those. Only tests stated in the accepted scope and on the report have been performed. An unexpected result does not change the analytical scope that was performed.
4. Research use only; no endorsement
A certificate of analysis is an objective analytical measurement, produced for research and quality-control purposes. It is not an endorsement of any product or supplier, a regulatory approval, a safety assessment, or a statement that any material is suitable, lawful or safe for human or veterinary use. Analytical testing does not establish clinical safety, efficacy, regulatory status, or the composition of untested units. Purity, identity, content, endotoxin and sterility are different questions, and only the ones you ordered were asked.
5. Samples, shipping, storage and destruction
Provide accurate sample descriptions and follow the packing instructions in your acceptance email and the applicable shipping requirements. You confirm that you are entitled to submit the material and that it is lawful to mail within Canada. Unapproved, hazardous, controlled, leaking, or misdeclared materials may be refused and are not returned.
Testing consumes submitted material during preparation and analysis. Any unused portion is retained for a short period in case a repeat analysis is needed, and is then destroyed. Material is not returned unless that is arranged and confirmed in writing before it is sent, and return shipping is at your cost and risk.
6. Prices, payment and changes
Published prices are in Canadian dollars. Tax, shipping, reference materials, method development, or additional work may affect the final quote. Additional charges are confirmed before that work proceeds. Payment is required before certificate release, by the methods stated on your payment page.
Contact us promptly to change or cancel a request. Any available refund or credit depends on the accepted quote and work already performed; ask for confirmation before shipping or authorizing further work.
7. Turnaround
Standard peptide analysis targets 5-10 business days from sample receipt and acceptance. Rush is available only when capacity and method readiness permit. Complex samples, repeat analysis, and additional methods may take longer; the applicable timing is confirmed during review. Turnaround targets are estimates, not commitments, unless a written service agreement says otherwise.
8. Certificates, data and public verification
The laboratory owns the analytical data and the report it produces; you receive the right to use the certificate for the sample it describes. Released reports are available as PDFs. Each certificate carries a unique number and a signed verification record on this site, which the laboratory keeps and may show to anyone who presents the certificate number, so that any copy can be checked against the original. Public listing of a certificate is agreed with you.
Share reports in full and preserve their identifiers, results, and context. A certificate must not be altered, excerpted in a misleading way, or represented as testing a different sample, batch, or product. The laboratory may withdraw a certificate that has been misused and say so on its verification page. Contact us about a suspected error or a copy that differs from the verification record.
9. Limitation of liability
The laboratory’s responsibility is to perform the accepted scope with the stated methods and to report the results honestly. If a result is shown to be wrong because of an error in the analysis, the remedy is a repeat analysis or a refund of the fee paid for that test, at the laboratory’s choice. The laboratory’s total liability arising from a request, however it arises, is limited to the fee paid for that request. The laboratory is not liable for the value of submitted material, for shipments lost or delayed in the post, or for any indirect or consequential loss, including lost inventory, manufacturing delays, lost sales, or lost business. You are responsible for how you use the results.
10. Confidentiality
Your identity, your request and your results are not disclosed to anyone else except as needed to perform the testing, to comply with law, or through the public verification record when a certificate is shared or listed. Suppliers named on a sample are not contacted.
11. General
This agreement is governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If a part of it is unenforceable, the rest stands. It is the whole agreement for a request unless a written service agreement signed by the laboratory replaces it.
