The linked example certificate is an instructional document, not a tested customer sample. Its figures are illustrative. Use it to locate fields and understand their relationship; do not cite its numbers as laboratory findings.

A real COA should be assessed with its own methods, units, sample identifiers and attachments. Different accepted scopes can produce different sets of results.

First: identify the material

Find the report number and sample description. Compare the compound, labelled amount, batch information and quantity received with the material you intended to submit.

Look for any statement about a solution, dilution, transferred material or supplied sample information. Those details determine which conclusions can be connected to the original vial.

Second: read each result with its unit

Locate purity, identity and measured content separately. Area purity describes the relative chromatographic response under stated conditions. Content describes the quantity measured on the stated basis. Identity gives the conclusion supported by the accepted assessment.

Check any reporting limit and qualification beside the result. A blank field or missing attachment is a reason to ask what the accepted scope included, rather than to assume the missing test passed.

Third: connect attachments to the result

Read the chromatogram’s axes, detector information, sample reference and integration details where provided. Use the full-size attachment when small labels cannot be read in the page preview.

A chromatogram is evidence within a method. Its visual appearance alone does not establish the identity of every peak or the quantity of peptide in a vial. The chromatogram guide explains the distinction in more detail.

Finally: verify the released issue

Use the website address or QR code to locate the public record. Compare its status and results with the PDF. Keep the complete report with its attachments when sharing the findings.

For a private report, use the authorized client access or contact the laboratory. Verification confirms the relationship to the issued record; it does not extend the analysis to untested vials.
